On the basis of the difficulty level of yogic practices and the advancedness of the program these programs are divided into this category of 100 hours, 200 hours, 300 hours, and 500 hours of yoga teacher training. Being an RYS (Registered yoga school) from the yoga alliance USA, we can offer yoga teacher training courses. Getting this yoga teacher training certification enables you to teach anywhere around the globe. Yoga teacher training from Yoga Alliance USA is globally recognized.
The yoga teacher training course focuses on learning to practice and teach the classical Hatha Yoga style, which emphasizes strengthening spinal architecture at the core of all asanas rather than speed and flow, which can be detrimental to the spinal anatomy. Traditional hatha yoga also focuses on Chakras, or subtle energy bodies, to tailor the asana practice to each individual’s physical and mental needs, rather than duplicating a generic sequence or generic asana as shown on magazine covers, without taking into account joint limits.
Pranayamas and Yoga Nidra are always included in traditional Hatha Yoga classes taught in our Yoga Teacher Training. Another significant distinction between current kinds of yoga and traditional hatha yoga at our ashram is that we place a greater emphasis on Stability (Sthira) with proper alignments at the eight major joints and breathing to extend the time of asana. We discourage students and aspiring yoga teachers from conducting quicker flows while disregarding fundamental joint and spinal anatomy in order to exert cardiac activity and fire up muscles without providing adequate prana (breath) to the muscles and heart.
